Happy Valentines Day!

Take some time today to find someone who may be alone - a widow, a soldier's wife, a single friend and surprise them with an expression of love. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just a quick phone call will do. But let them know that love has not forgotten them - He's a prayer away!

This is my husband's favorite poem:

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
Have a Great Valentines Day!

What a lovely poem.

It's nice for us to know thatGod's love is far deeper than any ocean, is unconditional and never ending. What an amazing God we have.
Bless you.

I was in the middle of posting this when the doorbell just rang, and now the tears are rolling.

What a blessed woman I am, and what a blessed woman you are!

Happy Valentine's, love on that man of yours!!

Lisa, what a wonderful way to express God's love to others that are hurting or without their loved ones. I received an email today about a soldier in Iraq whose wife just found out that she has stage4 cervical cancer who had miscarrige, they have a 5yr old child.
I love the poem! Do you know who wrote it? I would love to write this one down, but wanted to ask first.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
