Saturday Steps of Faith #6

Steps of Faith

Welcome back to Saturday Steps of faith. This is the time, this is the place where believers can come together believing God for things great and small.

I believe that God hears us when we pray and more exciting than that, He answers out prayers.

My question to you is, do you? What are you actively believing God for - right now? Who are you praying for? Are you truly expecting God to answer, to intervene? Do you believe?

God gave me a verse today that I would like to share.

The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

I have 3 friends who in the last few weeks have been diagnosed with cancer or a tumor. Their names are Jayme, Debbie and Ruth. Each of them has a personal relationship with Jesus. Each of them are trusting Him each step of the way.

This week I am taking God at His Word. I am asking Him to delight in each of them and their faith in Him. I am believing that God will quiet them with His love as they listen for His voice and trust in His Holy Name. I am looking forward to hearing how God has rejoiced over each of them with singing. Lord, plant a special song of praise in each of their hearts that will calm their fears and soothe their souls. May they experience peace that passes all understanding as they nestle into nearness with you.

Will you join me in praying for my 3 friends? What are you believing God for this week?

Hi Lisa!!

I've missed a few weeks, but I'm back!!

I join with you in prayer for your three friends:

My Father,

Today I come to you to join with Lisa in prayer for her friends Jayne, Debbie and Ruth.

You know that each of them has been given a diagnosis of cancer--a word which instills fear into us.

I ask you, Lord, to replace this fear with Your peace into each of these women--the knowledge that You are in control of each of their situations, that You delight in each of them for they are Your children.

I pray that their physicians seek Your guidance and wisdom in their care.

May Jayne, Debbie and Ruth each today feel Your calmness and peace within themselves--the peace that surpasses all human understanding.

I pray that they feel Your presence close to them, You embracing them and guiding them as they struggle with this illness in their lives.

Guide each of them in the many decisions they will need to be making as to their treatment.

Your Will be done, Father.

In Jesus' Name

Hi Lisa,

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

I've said a prayer for your friends. Aren't we blessed to serve a God who knows all, sees all and cares about it all!

Thanks for reminding me!

Blessings,
Gina

Hi Lisa!
I will definitely pray for your friends.

I have seen God's physical healing in my life in several amazing ways. I was healed of endometriosis (spelling?) and back/neck problems. I am praying God will reveal His mighty hand, His health, and His purposes in the midst of your 3 friends walking through the fire. Like the 3 in the fire, I know the fourth One will walk amidst them and keep them. I believe they will come out of the fire untouched and without the smell of smoke, and as a testimony to His greatness. God bless you sister as you are a light and encouragement!

Lisa,

I will also join you in praying for your dear friends. This will be a long, winding path for your friends to trod upon - may they never lose sight that they do not wander this journey alone. May you find special ways to grace their spirits and equip them for the steps ahead.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you will visit again - as I will yours.

Shalom,
Denise
