Endurance and Encouragement

I've been working really hard on a Bible Study for Wednesday night, so blogging has taken a back burner. Here is something quick for you to ponder.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6
Oh Lord, How I want all of those things. I want to press on to take hold of what you have in store for me. Give me endurance and encouragement as I run the race. Father, may our families, our homes, our churches seek unity as we follow Jesus. May we be as one voice praising and glorifying your name - until everyone has heard that Jesus is the answer. In His name I pray - Amen.

I've been praying for unity in our church as The Church as well. I had a pastor's wife tell me something rich yesterday....Church is hard, but Jesus is easy. Lovingly, Yolanda

I am Glorifying God indeed. I was able to make it to the Bible study at work today...2 other ladies were there, 5 couldn't make it. We are definitely needing your prayers, I posted all about it on my blog. Thank you for praying!
God Bless you Lisa!

Endurance and encouragement ... two words that cause me to ponder. God gives us both. We need endurance as the road can be tough and long. And we need endurance to stay strong and show others that we can endure. We need encouragement so as not to quit and we need it in order to encourage others. The North and South Poles meet at the intersection of unity where God reveals His purpose for needing both.
