Loving My Husband Friday

Loving My Husband Friday is for taking the time to focus on the positives of marriage. A time to build up your marriage and your spouse. A time to focus on something you love about your husband, something he did to encourage you this week, or just a tip on how to keep your marriage strong.

This past week God blessed us with the opportunity to get away for a few days. With Randy's back injury, this was a real sacrifice on his part. The 3 1/2 hour drive, sleeping in a different bed, all of the moving around racked his body with pain.

Knowing what it would cost him physically, he went without grumbling. He did it for me. He did it because he loves me! He did it so we could have some quality, family time together. What is taken for granted by many, was sacrificial love for us.

Thank You God for my husband and the way that he loves us!

I'm glad you got a chance to get away . . . and have such a loving husband! Your link did show up on Mr. Linky. I think sometimes Mr. Linky is finicky! I prayed for your marriage (and for your husband's back injury). Thanks for joining in!

This is such a moving post, even though it was just a brief one! I am sure that the time together is even more meaningful for you knowing what it cost Randy.

Sacrificial love is the right word.
