Today my journey has led me to a scripture that I am committing to memory this week. Ezekiel 36:26 says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Does that sound good to anyone else today? I don't want to settle for just a new coat of paint on my old-dilapidated heart. I want a new heart, fashioned in the hands of my loving Heavenly Father. I want Him to get out the hammer and chisel and to chip away all of the stone exterior that I've allowed to cover his handiwork until all that remains is a heart of flesh, beating in concert with His. I pray that this verse will strike a chord with your heart today too and that together our hearts will be a symphony before the King.

That is so beautiful Lisa. So often I settle for stone as I think it's easier...but really it's not.
