It's Thankful Thursday and I am again joining Sonya at Truth 4 the Journey. Click on the button above and feel free to join in with 5 items of Thanksgiving.
- Thank You God for the new Travis Cottrell CD. My friend Debbie calls him a modern day David. When I listen to this CS my heart is drawn right into worship and praise. There's no better place to be.
- Thank You God for forgiveness of sin. I hate when I blow it and lose my temper. But by your grace I am forgiven. Father continue to chip away at me to make me look like you.
- Thank You God for old friends that have popped back into my life and brought a smile to my face.
- Thank You God for everything that is working according to design: my cars, the washer, the dryer, the refrigerator, the air conditioner, the computer, and the list goes on. Thank You for keeping everything running smoothly. These are blessings that are easily overlooked.
- Thank You God for preparing a banquet table before for me and inviting me to come dine with you. Feasting on your Word, filled by your Spirit, there is no better place to be.

Beautiful, absolutely love your heart, Lisa. Please do tell me, the CD is more than you imagined? The sun is coming up and it is stunning!
By the way, I'm thankful for the a/c we hit high 90's yesterday.
Lovingly,
Yolanda
I love #4! Sometimes I feel silly when I thank God for something like that, but it is all due to His blessings and grace! Don't you feel like we need another wedding shower about every 10-15 years because by that time our household things are worn out?!!
What a fabulous list! Thankful for praise, forgiveness, friends. You've really blessed me with this list.
I'll have to check out that CD!
Have a great day,
Sonya Lee
Travis Cottrell is awesome!!
Great list of blessings!

I just love this list today, Lisa. It spoke to my heart - each one.
I am thankful for a great friend like you with a heart for God.
What a great list. I am with you on #3. This morning I got an email from someone from my distant past. :)
There is no better place, indeed, Lisa, then at the banquet table with our LORD.
I often don't even think about the basics of our everyday lives. We do need to be thankful for the workings of those things and the repair people who come to fix them when they don't! : )
May your day be blessed, Lisa. ~ linda
Hi Lisa
I enjoyed reading your list and liked how you are thankful for equipment running smoothly. We take that kind of thing totally for granted, I don't know how I would cope without my washing machine!
Love Collette x
What a heartfelt list! I really love #3. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like I am not alone in thinking up things for which to be thankful, even when Thanksgiving is still many moons away.
Everyday is, after all, an opportunity to give thanks. ^_^
